Digital Future in General Practice | September 2026
Colleagues came together to explore cyber security, AI, digital change and clinical safety. The event shared practical advice on preparing for cyber incidents and using technology safely, with a strong focus on learning and speaking up without blame.
Celebrating Success: Sharing Ideas in General Practice | March 2025
Colleagues shared examples of successful work across practices and PCNs, from hypertension care and social prescribing to support for older people and community health projects. The event also included sessions on patient safety, practice finance and AI, giving teams practical ideas to take back to their work.
Let’s Focus on Staff Wellbeing | November 2023
The Alliance and WellNet brought colleagues together to explore staff wellbeing and creating more supportive workplaces. Workshops covered stress, burnout, mindfulness and workplace culture, with practical ideas for supporting wellbeing in general practice.
Shaping Allied Health Together | March 2026
Allied Health Professionals from across Dorset came together for an afternoon of learning and wellbeing. The event explored the role of AHPs in shaping future health services, alongside sessions on patient safety, fraud prevention, medicines and speaking up at work.
Innovation in Green and Sustainable General Practice | October 2024
Colleagues explored practical ways to make general practice greener and more sustainable. The event shared examples from practices and introduced the Dorset Green Primary Care Practice Guide, with ideas to reduce waste, save energy and support healthier communities.

Your Voice, Our Network: Elevating General Practice Nursing Together | October 2025
General practice nurses came together to share experiences and explore the future of nursing in primary care. It included sessions on patient safety, group clinics, wellbeing and self-care, with time to meet colleagues and learn about local networks.
Let’s Focus on Workplace Culture and the Workforce | May 2024
The Alliance and Primary Care Training Hub brought colleagues together to explore workplace culture, workforce support and practical ways to improve working life. Interactive workshops focused on leadership, coaching and cross-professional collaboration, including a LEGO-based session to explore challenges in practice.
