Support available for the 2026 NHS General Practice Staff Survey

General practice teams across Dorset are being encouraged to take part in the 2026 NHS General Practice Staff Survey.

The survey is an opportunity to better understand the experiences of people working in general practice and will help build a clearer picture of the workforce across England. The findings will help inform future workforce planning and support for general practice teams.

The deadline for submissions is 1 September 2026.

Practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are responsible for submitting their own information. If you’re not sure where to start, the Primary Care Training Hub is here to help.

We’re here to support you

We know this is a busy time for practices and PCNs. If you have any questions about the survey or need help navigating the process, please get in touch with the Training Hub team.

We can help by:

  • Answering questions about the submission process.

  • Signposting you to useful guidance and resources.

  • Talking you through the information you’ll need to provide.

  • Sharing reminders and updates ahead of the deadline.
